© 2024 - Written by Bootle Youth Collab., Jess Forrest & Josephine Grace Wilcock (Bluesky Singing)

Chords: G Bm D A

Sky is blue, thinking of you
We said it was forever but we never knew
Need to get back on track
‘Cause I know that you’re never coming back

All forgiven but the trust is gone
Are you happier now you’re gone?

(And it feels, and it feels)
And it feels like rain clouds rolling in heavy, heavy
And I don't know how I’m gonna get through this

Sky is grey, all this pain
Everything we lost is a lot to take
Can’t ignore, not like before
You took me from the warm and shut the door

Feeling tired and the day’s are long
Why’m I left like I don’t belong?

(And it feels, and it feels)
And it feels like rain clouds rolling in heavy, heavy
And I don't know how I’m gonna get through this
And it won’t, and it won’t stop pouring down, down my face, oh
I’m wishing all my rain clouds away, rain clouds away, please go

How has it come to this?
The thunder is deafening
(Please go)
How will the sun return?
With all of our bridges burned

And it feels, and it feels
And it feels like rain clouds rolling in heavy, heavy
And I don't know how I’m gonna get through this
And it won’t, and it won’t stop pouring down, down my face, oh
I’m wishing all my rain clouds away, rain clouds away, please go
